Beginning next week Harris County MUD 55 residents will be voting on three bond items.
Proposition A is to allow refunding (refinance) of existing debt to lower debt payments.
Proposition B is to sell new bonds to finance ongoing maintenance and system improvements.
Proposition C is to institute a district Maintenance and Operations (M&O) tax in the future which will relieve the necessity to have expensive bond sales in the future.
All of these proposals will not cause the current tax rate to increase.
